Optimum Nutrition for Vigor and Vitality

Diet plays a key role in maintaining good health and helps us in the prevention of diseases. Research has shown that the majority of diseases can be produced or manifested by under-supply of various nutrients and essential foods. Nutritional deficiencies occur on account of factors including refining & processing of food, use of chemicals & preservatives on food items, flavouring, use of pesticides and pollution in air and soil. In order to correct the deficiencies a well-balanced and correct diet can help, though we cannot control certain factors like pollution etc we can change our food to live a healthy life.

So, what should we consume to be able to remain healthy?

Variety of vegetables and fruits  which can provide adequate amount of essential  nutrient

Seeds, grains and nuts are most important of all foods and contain all important nutrients needed for healthy body. These are also excellent source of essential unsaturated fatty acids, Vitamins and minerals, which help in rejuvenation of body cells and prevention of diseases.

Few Tips:

Always take luke-warm water mixed with lime, honey or Amla juice in the mornings.

Breakfast may include fresh fruits such as oranges, apples, banana, or any available seasonal  fruits. And you can add nuts along with these fruits and yogurt.

Lunch can mostly be boiled vegetables and may include yogurt.

I recommend that you may take a large bowl of fresh salad made up of green vegetables, if desired fresh cheese can be added.
